This part of the website contains links to articles, papers and other documents that planners will find of use when assessing planning applications for renewable energy developments and/or formulating planning policy in their local authority.

The resource bank is new and a small number of sub-sections are currently unpopulated. Material is being added all the time; if you know of a useful resource that isn’t included, please email details and a link to info@planningrenewables.org.uk

The resource bank is currently being categorised to easily show the origin of the content.  The categories are GovC- Government Acts and Policy documents, GovN- Government documents with no consultation and government funded documents, JouN- Journal Articles, OthC- Other documents with consultation, OthN-Other documents without consultation and WebL- Web-links and case studies.  Within categories documents are listed alphabetically by title.  Further information on how the categorisation was devised, and expanded category definitions can be obtained by e-mailing info@planningrenewables.org.uk
