Expert support network terms and conditions

You should ensure you meet the following criteria before applying for advice:

• Local authority officer in England
• Be applying for advice in relation to a planning application with a renewable energy element of over 50kW, or be developing renewable energy policy for a local development document
• You should have already checked the rest of the planning renewables website (www.planningrenewables.org.uk) in case the information you require is available on here.

Intellectual Property Rights and Copyright

You acknowledge that, subject to any pre-existing rights of third parties, the intellectual property rights (other than copyright) in all reports, documents and other materials which are produced by members of the Expert Support Network shall belong to CSE. You also acknowledge and agree that as the Expert Support Network forms part of a larger project being undertaken by CSE which is subject to the terms of an agreement between CSE and The Secretary of State for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform all reports, documents and other materials which are generated by members of the Expert Support Network shall belong to and be vested in the contracting Government authority.

Data Protection

You agree to CSE keeping your details on a database along with any information provided about your query, which will be used to match experts who are suitable to your query.

Status of Advice

The advice provided by members of the Expert Support Network represents the views of the expert(s) and does not necessarily reflect the views of CSE or the views of the Government authorities sponsoring this network, namely the Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC)/ the Department for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform (BERR) and the Department for Communities and Local Government (CLG).

Feedback

By accepting support from the expert support network you are also agreeing to give CSE feedback on the expert support network and a form will be sent to you after the receipt of expert advice.
