Welcome to the resource bank home page.

This section of the website contains various useful links to articles, papers and other documents that planners will find valuable when assessing planning applications for renewable energy developments, as well as when formulating planning policy for their local authority.

Select one of the areas from the list from in the lefthand column for which you are interested in. Within each area, there are sub-sections to choose from which contain specific information on various subjects. For example, if you select ‘wind’, and then ‘case studies’ you will be able to choose from a number of documents relating to various case studies of wind turbines or wind farm developments.

The resource bank is categorised to easily show the origin of the content. Within these categories documents are listed alphabetically by title. Further information on how this categorisation was devised and for expanded definitions of the categories, get in touch through our contact page.

New material is being added to the resource bank all the time - and of course materials and resources similarly become out of date all the times. If you come across any broken links, out of date resources or are aware of any useful resource that haven’t been included, please contact us and email the details with a link to the relevant resource.
