Micro renewables - Grants and costs

Grants are available for small-scale renewable energy installations, for householders, community buildings and public, private and non-profit organisations. The technologies covered and size of the grant for each will depend on individual circumstances.

Ensuring a high level of energy efficiency is a pre-requisite to installing micro-renewable technology and grants for energy efficiency measures, such as loft and cavity wall insulation, may also be available.
