Technical notes

Welcome to the technical notes home page. This section of the website will soon contain various technical notes which planners may find useful when assessing planning applications for renewable energy developments, as well as when formulating planning policy for their local authority.

You will be able to select one of the areas from the list which you are interested in. This will contain a list of various technical notes related to that area. For example, if you select ‘wind’ there will be a number of notes related to this. The technical notes pages are a new addition to the site and material is being added all the time.
