Hello and welcome to the tecnhical notes section. Here we aim to provide a series of technical notes which planners may find useful when assessing planning applications for renewable energy developments, as well as when formulating planning policy for their local authority.

Once these are uploaded, you will be able to select one of the areas from the list which you are interested, and this will contain various technical notes related to that area. For example, selecting ‘wind’ will bring up a number of notes related to this technology.
